The Sprague Staff Cultural Diversity Committee would love to connect with individuals, families, or groups of caregivers, who would be interested in putting together a bulletin board display to teach others about their culture or about a culture that is relevant to their family. Please see the example to the left here. This is an example of a bulletin board sharing about South Korean culture. There are no specific rules about what you can display. Your display can focus on one or many aspects of a culture. Our goal is to share with students and families about different cultures, and to increase community connections.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please click on the link here to sign up Opens a New Window. for a time to come in and put up your board. Displays will usually stay up for two weeks. If you are interested, you will sign up to come to Sprague on a Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to put up your display. You will come back to take your display down between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the Wednesday or Thursday before the next display is scheduled to go up (typically 12-13 days after putting up your display).
To access the bulletin board once you are at Sprague, you will ask a secretary in the office for the key. You will find the bulletin board at the end of the front hallway on the left, before the recess doors.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your time!
